The Chief of Akyem Asamakese in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Osaberima Adu Darko lll, has advised students of Asamakese to stay home and learn after school time.
"I'm not happy about the way these children rome about during night.
Instead of them to sit and learn after school so that they can prepare for class the next day, no, they will be out for nothing." Osabarima Adu Darko III emphasized.
He pleaded to parents to take very good care of their children for they are our future leaders and need to be protected.
"We should know that these children are our future leaders and we should do whatever we can to protect them."Osabarima Adu Darko III added.
He further mentioned that, he is always in the schools to see how his future leaders are doing of which teachers can testify to that effect.
Osabarima opined that, education is the key to success and as a king he want all the youth to be a successful and admonished all children to be serious with their education.
Osaberima said this at the grand durbar at Akyem Asamankese while celebrating the Obodwan Festival.
Chiefs and Queens from all over the country were there to showcase the rich traditional culture. The event brought the whole town to one place.
