There Is Brighter Light At The End Of The Tunnel For Amasaman Constituency NDC- Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed.
Parliamentary hopeful for Amasaman Constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed, has mentioned that, the Constituency is about to experience the best of political laurels as far as the National Democratic Congress is concerned as the party's leadership begin a road map to ensure that Executives are elected in the Constituency as well as the Parliamentary hopefuls.
Speaking to Nana Kwasi Asare on Nopras 107.5 Fm "Adekye Mu Nsem" program on Friday 27th January, 2023, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed was emphatic that, a meeting held between aspiring Parliamentary Candidates and Constituency Executives will yield the desired results.
The meeting she said, was sanctioned by joint efforts of Mr. Nabie Abdulai and herself has set a roadmap for the Constituency Executives elections to propel that of the Parliamentary hopefuls.
"Nana Kwasi Asare, the agenda was to, as a unit, take decisive steps towards ensuring that the Amasaman Constituency election is held as soon as applicable". Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed stated.
She commended all Parliamentary aspirants in the Constituency for their involvement in the said issue, and mentioned that, Hon. Alornyo, one of the Parliamentary aspirants and a key stakeholder in the constituency, for having the development of the Amasaman Constituency at heart, lighted up the meeting by making the gathering aware that he is already in discussions with the two people who have the cases in court.
"The gathering craved the indulgence of the two gentlemen who took the issues to court to heroically let the matters go and cooperate with Hon. Alornyo for the betterment of our beloved constituency.
This will then pave way for a date to be set as soon as possible for the constituency elections to be held". Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed said.
She further thanked all who in diverse ways made this development possible.
It could be recalled that, Amasaman Constituency could not hold NDC Constituency Executives elections hence their inability to partake in the Regional and National Executives elections.
