The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Upper Manya Krobo constituency of the Eastern Region are demanding that their incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko should be allowed to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the party unopposed.
According to the constituency executives and the branches the MP who is serving his first term has performed incredibly well and thus deserves the support of the rank and file of the party in his second term bid.
The Upper Manya Krobo NDC constituency executives explained that the constituency has seen tremendous development in the areas of health, agric, education and a considerable economic improvement within the three-year tenure of the MP.
“People of the Upper Manya Krobo have seen a rebranding of the constituency right at the community level to the national level. We, therefore, have no doubt that if given the opportunity, he can champion our development agenda, hence the need to renew his mandate as the parliamentary candidate for the NDC.”
In the areas of health they cited the construction of fully children's ward at Anyamony, CHPS compounds, equipped laboratory center at Sekesua renovation of a CHPS compound and close to a 100000 Ghana Cedis cash support for health facilities at Asesewa District Hospital several school infrastructures and roads reshaping and major interventions that have brought unquantifiable relief to the constituency.
On education, the constituency executives said since Hon. Bismark Tetteh became the MP he has taken the full responsibilities tertiary students and provided financial support for many.
He also sponsored mock examinations for BECE candidates, donated learning materials, and renovated basic schools at Korlewa, ............. as well as donated cement and furniture to many schools in the constituency.
While commending the tax lawyer-turned-politician for his strides in the roads sector, water and sanitation, social events and his engagements with the constituents, the Upper Manya Krobo NDC executives said the constituency are interested in the development of the constituency, they feel obliged to appreciate the efforts of the MP to go unopposed.
It is on this basis that Upper Manya Krobo NDC constituency is launching a roadshow project to showcase his achievements this easter festivity.
The Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives presented a cash of GHC 6000.00 to pick and filed the normination forms for MP to showed motivation and appreciation.
The constituency executives and the branches has its members drawn from all election zones in the Upper Manya Krobo with the aim of contributing to and supporting and to acclimate the incumbent MP on 3, May, 2023.
