Gina Ama Blay, Ghana's ambassador to Germany, has disclosed that many Ghanaians are prospering and leading successful lives abroad.
She claims that Germany has a large population of well-known people who are educated and operate in a variety of fields.
In an interview with Kwaku Amankwatia on Asempa FM's Abrokyire Nkommo, Madam Blay made this disclosure.
According to their records, the ambassador said there are 40,000 Ghanaians residing in Germany.
Many of them have German passports and have become assimilated into their new communities; as a result, many have renounced their Ghanaian passports. However, some others have permits and are still holding onto their Ghanaian passports.
She explained that some Ghanaians have lived in Germany for up to their fourth generation.
