Nana Akua Sarpomaa I is the newly installed chief of Akyem Dwenase in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area
The ceremony to outdoor the youngest queen in the traditional area came off in the early morning of Thursday, February 16 2023 at Akyem Dwenase in the fanteakwa south district in the eastern region.
Until her enstoolment, Nana Akua Sarpomaa I was popularly called by the citizenry as Ms. Lois Sego Blankson. She is a cosmetologist and entrepreneur.
After her enstoolment, Nana Akua Sarpomaa I assured the citizenry that she would be at the beck and call of the citizens anytime she's called to serve. She promised to fight teenage pregnancy and also support the women in the community with vocational training so as to help reduce unemployment rate.
Nana Akua Sarpomaa I assured her citizenry that she would team up with the traditional leaders in the community to address any other challenges the community is facing.
She called for unity, love, and equity to prevail in the Dwenase community
She then thanked the chief, other subchiefs, family members, and the entire residents/ citizens for making today very memorable for her.
