I Introduced "Break The Eight" And I'm More Knowledgeable Than You - Chairman Wontumi Fires KKD

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has challenged Kwasi Kyei Darkwah to an intellectual debate and demonstrated to him that the NPP's plan to break the eight-year jinx is more logical than handing over the economy to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The NPP Chairman, also known as Chairman Wontumi, stated that under former President John Agyekum Kufuor's administration, GDP growth rose from 3.7% to 6.2%.

Under former President John Mahama, the economic growth rate in 2016 was 3.4%, the lowest in two decades, according to Chairman Wontumi.

After John Mahama left inflation at 15.4%, President Akufo-Addo earned the esteem of Chairman Wontumi, who revealed that inflation remained at 15.4%.

Prior to COVID-19, Ghana had one of the fastest-growing economies in the globe, with a 7% GDP growth rate.

He pondered why Kwasi Kyei Darkwah would want the nation to regress by preventing the NPP from breaking the 8 percent threshold.

"I know where KKD departs from in East Legon, and before the NPP came to power, the road leading to his house was unpaved.

But as soon as the NPP came to power, the road was paved, and this straightforward act by the NPP should convince him to support our plan to break the eight", said Chairman Wontumi.
