Portia Owusua Asante, a 29-year-old Ghanaian nurse who passed away two weeks after her wedding in July, will be interred next month.
At the beginning of July 2023, Portia married Nana Akosah-Brempong Kwaku Fokuo in a magnificent ceremony.
Photos of the beautiful ceremony were posted online, but no one was aware that this euphoria would be brief.
Portia succumbed in a horrifying accident on July 16, 2023, precisely 14 days or two weeks after her marriage.
She was reportedly returning to work after her honeymoon when a catastrophe occurred, claiming her and two others' lives.
The nation was stunned by the sad news.
According to recent reports, Portia's funeral will be conducted in August.
