A physically-challenged single mother is suing her ex-partner for failing to fulfill his parental obligations to their child.
Janet Appiah claimed to have met Eugene Owusu at the Asafo restaurant in Kumasi. They had a four-year sexual relationship before having a child.
Janet is dissatisfied with Eugene, alleging that he failed to provide for her and the child after she gave birth.
Her repeated objections to him were disregarded.
"As a result, we broke up and he married another woman," she explained.
Janet's tragedy two years ago rendered her physically handicapped.
She revealed to Mama Efe on the Obra Show on Nhyira FM that she has not been employed since then.
Her greatest concern is her ex-husband's request for custody of their child before she begins child support.
Janet implored with Nhyira FM to encourage Eugene to provide regular child support.
Before the tragedy, she was a bead maker, so Mama Effe opened the phone line for supporters to pledge their support.
