According to Ghanaian performer Michael Owusu Addo, aka Sarkodie, his wife Tracy Owusu Addo's reaction to the news is both surprising and intriguing.

The rapper has also stated that he is unconcerned about what people think of his Try Me song and that he did the song because he wanted to, not to receive consolation from others.
"I have no notion at all. When I released it, I was not seeking responses. I did it because I wanted to do it; I'm not seeking reactions, you know; I just said it."
