National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, has charged government appointees to open up and make themselves accessible to party members, Kasapafmonline.com reports.

He made the call, according to Kasapafmonline.com, during a meeting with Chief Executive Officers of State institutions whom he was meeting for the second time in his attempt to develop a camaraderie between the party and the government.

The chairman told the CEOs to remember that the positions they were occupying was as a result of riding on the back of the party hence, the need for them to pay much interest in supporting the party and its members ahead of the upcoming 2024 general elections.

He believes that with the party getting such aid, that would go a long way to position it to retain power in the next general elections.

The report added that Chairman Ntim also entreated the CEOs not to relent in offering suggestions to the party as well as make time to visit the party headquarters to abreast themselves with happenings there.

It says the Chairman revealed a plan by the National executive body of the party to sustain such engagements for the following two years from now, "to create a synergy between the party and the appointees."

CEOs who have distinguished themselves for their continued support of the party received awards while others were encouraged to emulate their footsteps.
