There have been mixed reactions after a lady proudly admitted that she did not meet her husband's desired preferences and shared why he chose to marry her.
The incident unfolded when a Nigerian woman took to her TikTok page to share a video. In the video, she openly disclosed that she was well aware that she didn't match the physical criteria her husband initially sought in a partner when they were getting married.
The lady confessed that her husband had a preference for curvier and exceptionally attractive women, qualities she lacked at that time. Nevertheless, he decided to marry her despite this discrepancy.
She explained that her husband was drawn to her due to her distinctive qualities that set her apart from other women. Some of these qualities included her strong faith, her knowledge about his business, her respectable family background, and the fact that she never asked him for money before they got married.
Adding to her story, the husband appeared in the video and confirmed that his wife was not his ideal type. He went on to highlight more reasons that led him to choose her as his life partner.
"When my husband wanted to marry me, I knew deep down what he was thinking. He was probably saying to himself, 'Well, let me just manage her. She's hardworking, she's a devout believer, she can pray, and she doesn't burden me with financial demands.' I am aware of the kind of girls my husband typically prefers," she shared.
The lady's candid admission has sparked varied reactions, with people expressing their thoughts on the matter.
