A Twitter user who goes by the handle @buffdandy recently shared his thoughts on why he thinks demons tend to target people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
According to him, he has never seen a wealthy person give in to religious practices like fasting or exorcism, even when these activities took place in their homes. He believes that this is because demons tend to have a stronger connection with those who are poor.
In his tweet, he said, "I have never seen a rich man fall under the anointing even after fasting or having exorcisms happening in his home. I think demons have a relationship with the poor." This suggests that the young man believes that poverty and vulnerability may make individuals more susceptible to demonic possession or influence.
