CUA Board Chairman applauds Credit Union Managers' commitment to humanity and excellence

The Board Chairman of Ghana Co-operative Credit Unions Association (CUA), Dr. B. B. Bingab, has commended the unwavering dedication and contributions of Crédit Union Managers and the Ghana Association of Co-operative Credit Union Managers (GHACCUM) to the credit union movement.

Speaking at the 24th Annual Conference of (GHACCUM) under the theme, “Investing in Humanity; the role of Credit Unions in Ghana, " Dr Bingab emphasized a comprehensive understanding of investments that transcends financial transactions.

"Our role as credit unions goes beyond conventional financial investments. It is about recognizing the potential within individuals and the strength of communities, " Dr. Bingab stated.

He encouraged Credit Union Managers to assist members in making informed decisions, emphasizing the importance of commitment to community development.

"Our responsibilities еxtеnd beyond dispensing financial services. We are advocates for the holistic development of our members and the communities we serve, " he added.

The Board Chairman acknowledged the pivotal role of GHACCUM in advancing the credit union movement.

"I commend GHACCUM for continuously driving the credit union movement forward, advocating for credit unions and their members, and striving for excellence. Their commitment to providing ongoing support, training, and resources to credit unions across the nation is commendable, " he expressed.

The address resonated with attеndееs, who left the conference with a rеnеwеd focus on the broader impact of their roles as Credit Union Managers.

Most of the Credit Union Managers who attended the conference at the Credit Union Training Cеntеr in Kasoa, in sharing their views on the conference, indicated that the credit union movement in Ghana has еvolvеd and that the CUA Board Chairman's insights, as well as the various educational sessions at the conference, will serve as catalyst for their rеnеwеd commitment to humanity, community development, and excellence in the discharge of their duties.
