The daughter of former MP of Tarkwa Nsuaem Nana Esi Antwi Bosiako, formerly known as Ewurasi Ghansah, and her husband Dasebre Omama Achemfour, the Akwamuhene of Massachusetts USA, achieved a historic milestone with their visit to the White House and Capitol Hill.

The couple, owners of Omama Services Incorporated, a thriving home health care and non-medical transportation business in Massachusetts, USA were honored with a visit from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Led by former Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the White House and Capitol Hill on 16th November 2023.

During this significant occasion, Nana Esi Antwi Bosiako had the privilege of introducing one of the distinguished guests at the meeting.

Hailing from Wassa Dompim Pepesa in the Western Region of Ghana, Nana Esi is the daughter of the late Hon. Joseph Ghansah, the former MP of Tarkwa Nsuaem from 1996 to 2000.

Among the esteemed dignitaries the couple encountered during their visit were Senator Elizabeth Warren, Congressman James McGovern, and Senator Ed Markey.

The remarkable journey from Wassa Dompim Pepesa to the halls of the White House and Capitol Hill stands as a testament to inspiration, enterprise, and a commitment to making a positive impact in both the United States and Ghana.

The couple’s company, Omama Services Incorporated has evolved into one of the premier home healthcare enterprises in Massachusetts, and the couple has set their sights on replicating their success in Ghana.

Through Omama Health Ghana, they have already acquired a facility to establish a pediatric hospital.
