President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will leave Ghana for a state visit to China from Friday, 31 August 2018.
Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to hold bilateral engagements with Chinese President, Xi-Jiping, on economic relations between the two countries.
Nana Akufo-Addo was accompanied by a delegation to participate in a Business Forum in the Chandong to woo investors and ensure that more business opportunities are open to Ghana.
Nana Akufo-Addo will also attend the Forum on China-Africa Corporation (FOCAC) which will be attended by 40 heads of state from Africa who have signed up to Continental Free Trade Area to discuss infrastructure, power, education and industry on the continent.
The president’s visit is also to deepen Ghana’s relations with China.
