The judge in the ambulance case has ruled that an audio recording between Richard Jakpa and Attorney General Godfred Dame did not show Dame instructing Jakpa to implicate Ato Forson.
The audio was presented by Forson and Jakpa to seek a halt in prosecutions.
Justice Afia Serwah Asare Botwe dismissed the mistrial application after evaluating the recording, which revealed no such instructions from Dame. Instead, the incriminating claims were made by Jakpa himself.
The judge noted the impropriety of Dame's engagement with Jakpa, including asking him to file a medical excuse, but found no evidence of misconduct in directing Jakpa against Forson.
