Kwaku Ansa-Asare, former Director of the Ghana School of Law, has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to dismiss Attorney General Godfred Dame following a leaked tape involving Dame and Richard Jakpa.
The controversy arose during the prosecution of Dr. Forson, the Minority Leader, over defective ambulance procurement. Despite Jakpa's requests for a plea bargain, the Attorney General has not accepted the proposal.
Ansa-Asare called for Ghanaians to initiate impeachment proceedings against the President if he fails to act, emphasizing the importance of upholding the constitution and not ignoring the serious allegations.
