Kwaku Ansa-Asare, a former Director General of the Ghana School of Law, has called for the resignation of Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame.
Ansa-Asare urges Dame to step down on moral grounds following allegations by Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ambulance purchase trial against Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
Jakpa claimed Dame repeatedly approached him to implicate Dr. Forson. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) plans to support Jakpa’s claims with evidence.
Ansa-Asare believes Dame should confront the allegations in court rather than through politically charged inquiries.
