Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized the trial judge in the ambulance purchase case for abusing discretionary power by not allowing legal arguments on June 6.
Gyamfi argued on JoyNews' Newsfile that the judge failed to exercise discretion properly, especially given the novel legal issue at hand.

He contended that despite the norm of allowing counsel to move motions, the judge did not hear the lawyers, which he views as an abuse of discretion under Article 296.
