Senior lecturer, ECOWAS consultant and aspiring NDC parliamentary candidate for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency in the Central Region, Dr Nana Ama Browne Klutse has threatened to effect legal actions against incumbent NPP MP, Elvis Morris Donkor, if falsehood and defamatory comments peddled against her on Coastal FM are not retracted.
In a letter issued by the legal team of the astute NDC academician on Wednesday July 24, 2019, it appeared that on July 18, 2019, Elvis Morris Donkor on Coastal FM churned out damning untruths about Dr Nana Ama which she insists is a calculated and premeditated attempt to dent her political carrier and reputation which she has built several years.
“Our client instructs is to inform you that your defamatory statements have injured the image of our client and brought her hard-won reputation into discredit and reproach within the NDC fraternity", the statement noted.
The statement further demanded that, “Our client has instructed us to inform you that should you fail to comply with her demand immediately above we have her instructions to commence legal proceedings against you in which we are to seek maximum damages in law against you."
Speaking to the media, Dr Nana Ama Kluste stressed that she believed in the rule of law and constructive politics.
Dr Klutse expressed shocked that a Member of Parliament of such caliber would indulge in politics she describes as politics of dishonesty.
