Vigilant Immigration Officers at the Tumu Command in the Upper West Region have apprehended a Burkinabe in the Tumu township.
The illegal migrant was earlier on refused entry into Ghana at Katina, an unapproved route bordering neighbouring Burkina Faso in the Tumu SECTOR.
But, the Ecowas national sneaked into Ghana through a different unapproved route and was apprehended on his motorbike with registration number 25 KZ 5250.
He was screened by the health personnel before being handed over to the Burkina Faso authorities on the other side of the border at the Lan Border Post.
