The Pan Africa International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association is unwavering in its resolve to holds its 5th Regional Conference in Ghana amidst threats from a section of Ghanaians.
MyNewsGh.com last week broke the story about the planned International Conference which later dominated several media discussions with Tireless anti-gay rights campaigner Lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning stating that it would be over his dead body for such an event to take place in Ghana.
Well, the association is determined to hold the event scheduled for 27 – 31 July 2020 in Accra, Ghana and has gone ahead to seek donor support for the event.
An announcement placed on its website to that effect reads “Global Philanthropy Project (GPP) will partner with Pan Africa ILGA to organise a one-day donor pre-conference for grantmakers invested in Africa’s LGBTQI human rights movements. If you are a funder, you can express your interest in participating in the donor pre-conference by signing up for more info here”
