Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has denied claims of reckless spending by the Akufo-Addo administration.
He asserts that funds have been used judiciously on beneficial projects.
At the 8th Ghana CEOs Summit in Accra on May 27, he emphasized the need to reduce government expenditure by 3 to 5 percent. Bawumia proposed running the government with 50 ministers to save public funds.
He highlighted projects like the networking of hospitals and Ghana.gov as examples of prudent spending and stressed the importance of continuing this approach to manage the country's finances effectively.
