New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has described some Ghanaian journalists as evil who behave like tin gods.
He attacked the works these journalists in the country describing their modus operandi of seeking information from innocent people as evil.
“They behave like tin gods in Ghana where they discuss people negatively on radio and television stations without giving the opportunity to the affected persons they have accused to respond”, the lawmaker observed
According to Mr Kennedy Agyapong who spoke in a televised video interview available to MyNewsGh.com, the behavior of such journalists is uncalled for despite the media being the fourth estate of the realm the government.
“They think they have powers more than the President, Executives, Legislature and the judiciary because they say they are they are the fourth arm of the government”, He pointed out host Nana Yaw Amoako Gyampa.
The outspoken lawmaker cited instances where ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas was allegedly contracted just to run some respected and hardworking judges in Ghana hence in his exposé ‘Judicial Corruption.
“Ask Anas why he took the goats and sheep back after he claimed he used them to bribe the judges”, the ardent critic of journalist quizzed.
“Anas forcibly put a goat in a car belonging to judge and take a picture of it without the knowledge of that judge”, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong stressed.
