Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the Ambulance trial has revealed in court that he declared war on Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame after feeling betrayed when he was not discharged by the court despite assurances from Dame.
Jakpa claimed Dame had promised to let him walk free in exchange for his cooperation in prosecuting Dr. Ato Forson.
In a heated exchange at Justice Yonny Kulendi's house, Jakpa declared war on Dame, vowing to use his "underworld skills" to pay him back for trying to take his liberty.
The Director of Public Prosecution suggested that Jakpa's recording of Dame was in furtherance of this war.
