In the ongoing ambulance trial, Richard Jakpa, the third accused, has denied implicating Supreme Court Justice Yonny Kulendi.
Despite being related to Justice Kulendi, Jakpa clarified he never mentioned his name during his court submissions. Jakpa was accused of involving Justice Kulendi after meeting Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame at his house.
He asserted that the prosecution introduced Kulendi’s name, mistakenly believing Jakpa’s recording was made at Kulendi’s house.
Jakpa emphasized that the prosecution initiated this narrative and pursued it through media channels, not him.
