KT Hammond's wife appointed High Court judge by Akufo-Addo

Nabeela Naeema Wahab Sahiba, was one of 10 new High Court judges who were sworn in by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, last week.

According to reports the new judge happens to be the wife of a Member of Parliament for the Adansi-Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti Region, Kobina Tahir Hammond Sahib, alias K.T Hammond.

Nabeela Naeema Wahab Sahiba, is currently the General Secretary of Lajna Imaillah Ghana, the women’s wing of the Ahmadiyya Mission.

She is also the daughter of Alhaj Dr Abdul Wahab Adam, the former Amir and Missionary-in-charge of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Ghana.

Called to the bar in 2008, Judge Nabeela is said to have had her Master’s LLM here in Ghana with her dissertation titled: “Maritime Boundary Delimitation and Oil Discovery in Ghana: A Potential for Conflict between Ghana and its Neighbour, Cote d’Ivoire.”
