NAPO not competent to be Bawumia’s running mate – Basintale

Malik Basintale, Deputy Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, known as Napo, as an unsuitable running mate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In an interview on Citi FM's Point Blank, Basintale argued that Napo lacks the necessary competencies and temperament for the role, citing his poor track record as Education Minister and his perceived arrogance.

He highlighted issues such as the return of power outages under Napo's tenure as reasons why he believes Napo is a "very bad candidate" for the position.
