NDC is readying itself for a "bigger piece of cake" in the Ashanti Region as it has assembled 18 big brains as members of its manifesto committee.
Hon. Jonny Osei Kofi, a former Deputy Chief of Staff has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Manifesto Committee for election 2020.
He will serve with Dr. Aboagye Dacosta, Dr. Bettie Solomon Ayeh, Mr. Doe Tamekloe, Mr. Raymond Tandoh, Mr. Yaw Brogya Genfi, Prof. Ohene Adjei, Hon. Fuseini Donkor, Hon. John Alexander Ackon, Prof. Joe Oteng Adjei, Madam Edith Amamo, Mr. Samed Akalilu, Alhaji Muniru Muntaka, Mr. Humphrey Asem, Lawyer Clement Marfo, Mr. Isaac Afeh, Miss Henrietta Asante and Mr. Solomon Anane to compile a Manifesto that reflects the needs and aspirations of the People of the Ashanti Region.
The Committee would meet identifiable groups like the Kumasi Business Association, Artisans and Spare Parts Dealers at Suame Magazine, Small Scale Miners and Market Women Associations among others to understand their needs, solicit realistic proposals and proffer feasible solutions to address same.
The Regional Manifesto Committee would also receive inputs from all Constituency Executive Committees of the Party.
A statement issued and signed by the Regional Secretary, Kwame Zu revealed “The Committee is expected to complete its work within one month and submits proposals to the National Manifesto Committee. The Regional Executive Committee congratulates and wishes them well”
