Deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked the leader and founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries Rev. Owusu Bempah to learn to let the light of Christianity shine in whatever he does.
Rev Owusu Bempah and three others have been remanded by an Accra Circuit Court for ordering an assault on police officers who were at his Church to effect an arrest on Sunday, September 12, 2021.
The court remanded him for a week and is expected to return to court on September 20, 2021.
Reacting to the arrest and subsequent denial of bail, Nana Obiri Boahen indicated that listening to stories surrounding the arrest of the well-known man of God, he believes that Rev. Owusu Bempah could have done better.
Obiri Boahen believes that as a Christian or a believer in a religion, the light of your religion should be reflected in your daily dealings.
“I must say that if it’s true that Owusu Bempah stormed Agradaa’s house then he did not do well. As a Christian, a Buddhist, a Muslim, the religion you subscribe to should always reflect in your lifestyle. I don’t know Mensah Otabil from Adam but I will always listen to his preaching, same as Dag Heward Mills,” he said on OKAY FM.
