In the ongoing ambulance procurement trial, the prosecution has confirmed that Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame met with the 3rd accused, Richard Jakpa, at the residence of Supreme Court judge Justice Yonny Kulendi.
This acknowledgment marked the first time the prosecution admitted the meeting, though they claimed it was unplanned and coincidental. Richard Jakpa had previously asserted during cross-examination that these meetings occurred.
The prosecution argued that the Attorney General did not arrange the meeting, calling Jakpa's claims false. Jakpa maintained that the Attorney General arranged the meeting through his cousin.
The trial, involving financial loss accusations, will continue next week.
