The family of the deceased undercover investigator, Ahmed Hussein-Suale is demanding an unqualified apology from Member of Parliament and owner of Kencity Media, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
According to them, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong exposed the identity of their family member who was an investigative reporter with celebrated journalist Anas Aremeway Anas to public harm.
Speaking on Okay FM’s “Ade Akye Abia” Programme, Abia Musah Mukaz, a family member said they are still outraged by the utterances of the NPP MP even after the death of their relative and that he should come out and apologise to the family.
“Our boys were really furious and had wanted to attack the Member of Parliament, we just had to restrain them…We want peace, so he (Kennedy Agyapong) should do the needful,” he added.
He disclosed that the autopsy has already been completed.
Ahmed Hussain Suale was laid to rest today, Friday, January 18, according to the Muslim rites.
Undercover investigator and a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigations team, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, was shot dead some three days ago.
Ahmed was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late Wednesday night at Madina in Accra while he was driving home by unidentified men on a motorbike
He was one of Tiger Eye’s journalists whose photographs circulated in ‘Who Watches the Watchman’ a documentary that criticised Anas’ work.
