he Convention People’s Party (CPP) in the Tema Central Constituency has extended its best wishes to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Saturday’s primaries.
The party, in a press release signed by its Tema Central Constituency Chairman, Mr Eric Jerry and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Tema, wished all aspirants the best of luck and successful primaries.
He expressed optimism that the NPP would conduct the elections devoid of antagonism to ensure a peaceful and successful primaries and further the country’s democracy.
He called on the party to strictly adhere to government’s Covid-19 protocols as it was likely that delegates would amass at various centres.
The CPP in the constituency, it further added, was confident that after votes were cast, and results declared, aspirants would accept the results in good faith and remain unified for the general election in December.
