The Ghana Police Service has announced that parts of the Liberation and Independence Roads in Accra would experience a temporary obstruction of traffic flow for Thursday, September 16, 2021’s Extraordinary Summit.
Addressing the media yesterday, Superintendent Obeng indicated that affected areas would include; the Kotoka International Airport, Opebia, Akuafo Roundabout, Afrikiko, Ako-Adjei interchange, National Theatre, Ridge Roundabout, and the Kempinski Hotel roads.
The Director of Public Affairs, Superintendent, Alexander Obeng explained that the roadblock is to facilitate the transportation of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) who will participate in the Extraordinary Session
