Asante Kotoko have received close to 20 applications, a little over a week after parting ways with Croat Zdravko Logarusic.
The Porcupine Warriors appear desperate to fill the space created by the decision to axe the former King Faisal coach on April 9 and have since held several consultations.
Despite not publicly inviting applications, the club’s official mail is inundated with a growing number of CVs.
“Close to 20 applications received so far” though “the identities of the coaches cannot go public at the moment,” a club source is quoted by Supersport.
Assistant coach Godwin Ablordey is currently acting in stop-gap capacity with the help of stalwart defender Frimpong Manso till the end of the first round of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.
