CAF and GFA Medical Committee Member, Dr Prince Pamboe has called for the cancellation of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.
Speaking on Sunday Night Live SNL with Karl Tuffuor, he said the Football Association must forget about football for the 2020 calendar year.
He warned that the coronavirus is very dangerous and has caused many sickness and deaths in a short time all over the world.
He said all major events have been called off or postponed including the major sports leagues and the 2020 Olympic Games.
He called on Ghanaians to practice safe and healthy living by washing hands with soap regularly, using sanitizer, covering mouth and nose with handkerchief or tissue when coughing as well as applying social distance.
He said the covid-19 can be infected with the movement of people, so it is better if people stay at home to stop the spread of the virus.
He commended President Akufo Addo for the measures he has ordered in Ghana.
