Ghana’s George Afriyie has been appointed as the Match commissioner for the 2019 AFCON match no. 33 between Mauritania and Tunisia in Suez.
The former Ghana FA vice, who is also a member of the AFCON organising committee is also doubling as a match commissioner for the competition.
George Afriyie had a successful first match as a commissioner when Angola and Mauritania played out a goal less draw game on Saturday, incidentally, that was the tournament’s first goal less draw after 20 other matches had produced goals.
Also to join the Ghanaian administrator for this match is Dr. Prince Pambo, who has been appointed the Medical officer in charge of Doping control for the match.
Mauritania vs Tunisia is scheduled for the new Suez Stadium on Tuesday July 2, at 7pm. (GMT)
