Kamaldeen Sulemana's return from football is a big boost for Ghana coach Otto Addo ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers next month

The 19-year-old who has been out of action since mid-February due to a back injury was left out of Ghana's game against Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs.

The Stade Rennes player marked his return to action in a reserve match against Dinan-Lehon which they won 3-1.

The Ghanaian got an assist in that match as he announced his return to the pitch with some impressive performance.

With the AFCON 2023 in focus, the Black Stars would come up against Madagascar, Angola and the Central Africa Republic in Group E.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate last played for the Black Stars at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Ghana hosted Madagascar in its opening game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium later this month.

The Black Stars travel away for the second game against the Central Africa Republic.

Coach Otto Addo is expected to name his squad in the coming days for the doubleheader next month.
