2025 AFCON: ‘I hope we qualify alongside Ghana’ – Kwasi Appiah

Sudan head coach Kwasi Appiah hopes both Sudan and Ghana qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after being drawn together in Group E.

Appiah, a former Ghana coach, expressed optimism following the draw in Johannesburg, South Africa, stating the importance of thorough preparation and having the right team to succeed.

He wishes both nations the best and hopes they both secure qualification for the tournament in Morocco.

Appiah, who coached Ghana from 2012 to 2014 and 2017 to 2019, currently leads Sudan, which tops their 2026 World Cup qualifying Group B.
