The talented midfielder has been a key player for the Ghanaian club this season, participating in every match and scoring once as they aim for the Premier League title after a disappointing previous season. His strong performances have led to his first national team invitation.
Currently, the Black Stars face the risk of missing the AFCON for the first time in two decades due to their lackluster qualifying campaign. With two losses and two draws from four matches, they sit third in the standings with only two points.
To keep their hopes alive for the tournament in Morocco, Ghana must win against already-qualified Angola and Niger while relying on Sudan to stumble in their matches.
The team will play Angola in Luanda on November 15 and host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18, 2024.
