2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars will go into the last two games with positivity – Henry Asante Twum
GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has emphasized that the Black Stars will maintain a positive approach in their final two qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, despite their slim qualification chances.
Ghana, third in Group F with just two points, faces Angola on Friday, but their fate may be decided on Thursday if second-placed Sudan secures a point against Niger, clinching qualification.
Asante Twum stressed the team's commitment to winning and staying optimistic, saying, “We will fight very hard, go to Angola, give it 100% energy, and go for the points.” If they succeed, Ghana will also aim to defeat Niger in their final match to keep their qualification hopes alive.
Group F standings show Angola already qualified with 12 points, Sudan second with seven, and Niger at the bottom with one point from a draw against Ghana.
