2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Mohammed Kudus, 7 other players partake in first Black Stars training ahead of Angola game
The Black Stars commenced their training on Monday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking the start of their preparations for the final round of qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The session featured eight players, including deputy captain Mohammed Kudus, a key figure in the team and essential for the upcoming matches.
In addition to Kudus, the training included a combination of international and local players such as Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Osman Bukari, and goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott, along with three talents from the Ghana Premier League—Emmanuel Antwi, Razak Simpson, and Isaac Afful.
This mix underscores the team's balance of seasoned players and rising stars as they gear up for critical encounters.
