Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan has disclosed his admiration for former Real Madrid hero Guti Hernandez.
Duncan started the 2019/20 campaign with Sassuolo but moved to Fiorentina on loan in January, with option to purchase for €15 million this summer.
The Ghana international has expressed his likeness for Real Madrid legend Guti, claiming that the Spaniard greatly influenced his game.
“Before I arrived in Italy, I used to watch Xabi Alonso, but Guti was the player I liked the most given his incredible quality with his feet,” he said.
“When I arrived in Italy, I had the opportunity to train with Thiago Motta who played exemplary football in his role.”
Guti won five Spanish league titles and three UEFA Champions league titles during his 15 year stay at Spanish giants Real Madrid.
