Alhaji Grunsah, the financier of King Faisal, has alleged evidence of match-fixing in the Ghana Premier League and is prepared to expose those involved.
Despite the Ghana Football Association’s efforts to combat match manipulation, Grunsah claims such activities persist.
“This season’s league is very bad,” he lamented, revealing evidence of three to four fixed matches and mentioning that some implicated clubs have approached him to plead. He emphasized the need for an independent body to investigate and ensure fair judgment.
While the identities of the accused remain undisclosed, authorities are expected to investigate the claims as Ghana strives to improve its football standards.
Meanwhile, Grunsah is focused on returning his team to the top tier after their relegation two seasons ago.
