Ghana’s Ayew brothers have scored a combined 7 goals of the country’s last 9 goals at the Africa Cup of Nations finals following their goals against Benin on Tuesday.
The two brothers were on target for the Black Stars as Benin held them to a 2-2 draw in their Group F opener.
Andre Ayew scored the first goal for Ghana to restore parity, before Jordan Ayew made it 2-1 late in the first half.
Their two goals means the two brothers have scored 7 of Ghana’s last nine goals in the African Cup of Nations.
Andre Ayew has scored scored 5 and Jordan Ayew with 2 goals while Gyan also has two of the last nine goals.
Andre Ayew goal against Benin last Tuesday means he is now Ghana’s all time goal scorer at the African Cup of Nations with 9 goals.
