Although he was born in England, Semenyo's Ghanaian roots are a significant part of his identity.
He enjoys returning to Ghana to reconnect with family and friends, who share a deep passion for football. “I love visiting our homeland and seeing the excitement around the sport,” he noted.
Since making his debut for the Black Stars on June 1, 2022, Semenyo has participated in over 20 matches, establishing himself as a key player in the team.
His journey showcases his personal pride and dedication to honoring his heritage on the international platform.
Semenyo is anticipated to be included in the Ghana squad, as head coach Otto Addo prepares for upcoming matches against Angola and Niger in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament this month.
