Royal Antwerp striker William Owusu has been handed his Ghana debut call-up for next month's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
The 28-year-old has been included in a 21-man squad released by the spokesperson for the FIFA/CAF Liaison Team.
Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah wants to assess the player after recent impressive displays in the Belgian top-flight.
Owusu has scored one goal in four appearances this season.
The lanky forward has spent the last eight years in Belgium since leaving Portuguese side Gil Vicente.
He has played for Cercle Brugge, Westerlo and KSV Roeselare.
