Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan is set to unveil the first phase of the over $300,000 dollars astro-turf he constructed for one of Ghana's most revered high schools, Accra Academy.

The construction of the pitch is fulfillment of a promise made by the Gyan when he visited his Alma mater two years ago
It is believed that Gyan began his successful football career at Accra Academy before blossoming to become the legend he is.
The pitch comes in handy to serve the school who previously a used a grass-less pitch as well as some divisional clubs in Kaneshie and it's environs
Gyan is believed to have pumped more than 1-million dollars into charity. A gesture that obviously demands commendations.
