Ghana Premier League giants have officially completed the signing of Kwame Opoku from second-tier side Nkoranza Warriors for an an undisclosed fee.
Opoku penned a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors after passing his mandatory medical at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The club's official statement reads: "Nkoranza Warriors Sporting Club wish to announce the transfer of striker Kwame Opoku."
"The goal poacher has been transferred to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club."
"We thank him for his service to the Club and we wish him best in all his endeavors."
Footballghana.com understands that the highly-rated striker will be available for selection during the second round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
Opoku joins the Reds after his move to Serbian outfit FK Cukaricki fell through.
He is signed as replacement for Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba who has refused to extend his contract with the club.
He bagged an impressive ten goals for Nkoranza Warriors in their Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
He has already commenced training with Kotoko where he scored five goals in their friendly win over Jachie Youth.
