Medeama SC head coach Samuel Boadu says Asante Kotoko is the toughest opponent his side has encountered this season so far.
The Mauve and Yellows were having an excellent campaign in the Ghana Premier League until the CoronaVirus forced break.
Medeama SC had blown almost all their opponents apart especially at home; winning 8 and drawing 3 of their 15 matches.
They beat Hearts of Oak, AshGold and Asante Kotoko all at home.
When asked to name his toughest opponent yet, Samuel Boadu emphatically mentioned Maxwell Konadu’s side.
“I will say that Asante Kotoko. It was a very tough game, when we played against them at our home grounds, we scored (beat) them one” he said.
“We scored an early goal and then I saw Coach Maxwell (Konadu) call the players , had a discussion with them and they changed their game plan totally which affected us”.
“So we tried our best to defend that one goal (advantage) so that they won’t cancel the goal” he concluded.
